ERA 2: Mech-noir

In the mid-2030s, local forces had began making movements to put a bad name to racers and tuners. With rising authoritarian forces, style had to be set aside as racers had to seek the essentials in the face of scarcity. Now, a quietness stood in place of the noise, but that did not mean that their voices were silenced. As one driver put it, ‘we will find a way to live, not survive, no matter the means.’ Cars had become a call to arms, an expression of radicalism and rejection of control.
